We wanted to get something that we could really make a mess of, basically, and then not feel bad about when it’s time to throw it out in a year or two.
There are probably many of those.It makes me happy though, and it’s in the name of making our house feel a little happier too.. We have this rickety screen door leading to our mudroom, that you get to by going up a set of rickety steps on the side of our house.
The whole set up isn’t rickety as in, old and charming, more just oldish and in disrepair.And there are spiders.But that’s for another post..
The previous owners had added these little stick-on warning signs all over the door, for a feeling of security, I guess.I get it, but they’re really really unwelcoming and ugly to look at, and that matters to me.
OK, well I get the dog sign and the alarm system sign, but the soliciting?

I know in some places, the kids have been back for a couple of weeks already, but here we don’t go back until after Labour Day.I’m ready for it!.
